Identification

WWC AOI (Actinic Orange Infusion) Zoanthids are a premium and highly sought-after designer zoa known for their intense, high-contrast coloration. They feature a vibrant orange to reddish-orange center surrounded by a deep blue to purple outer ring, often accented with a bright green oral disc under actinic lighting. The skirts are typically dark with subtle highlights, creating a striking “glow” effect under blue LEDs.

Size:
Individual polyps typically measure 0.5–1 inch (1–2.5 cm) in diameter.

Yes—compatible with most reef-safe fish and invertebrates.

Aggression:
Mild; can spread and overtake nearby corals if not managed.

Caution:
Contains palytoxin—handle with care, avoid contact with cuts or eyes, and always wash hands after handling.
