  • Hiding spots for fry (Java moss or dense plants recommended)

Excellent community fish with other peaceful species like guppies, platies, swordtails, mollies, rasboras, and corydoras. Avoid aggressive or fin-nipping fish.

Fun Facts

  • Marble Mollies are livebearers, meaning they give birth to free-swimming fry instead of laying eggs.
  • They can adapt to both freshwater and slightly brackish water conditions.
  • Females can store sperm and produce multiple batches of fry from a single mating.
  • Their coloration is highly variable, and no two Marble Mollies look exactly alike.
  • They are often used in aquariums as both ornamental fish and natural algae grazers.
