Aquaforest Kh Buffer 1200 gms
Aquaforest KH Buffer 1200 gms is a specialized supplement designed to maintain stable carbonate hardness (KH) levels in reef aquariums. Aquaforest KH Buffer 1200 gms supports pH stability and ensures a healthy environment for coral growth and biological filtration by preventing sudden drops in alkalinity that can disrupt the nitrification process. The recommended KH level for reef aquariums is 6.5–8.5 dKH. To use, dissolve 80 g in 1000 ml of RODI water and dose according to test results and coral uptake. This fast-dissolving formula is easy to apply and essential for maintaining balanced water chemistry in reef systems.
Aquaforest Kh Buffer 1200 gms
An agent for maintaining constant carbonate hardness levels in reef aquariums.
Maintaining stable carbonate hardness for perfect balance in the aquarium
An agent for maintaining constant carbonate hardness levels in reef aquariums. An accurate level of carbonate hardness is essential for stabilizing pH levels. A sudden drop of carbonate concentrations in the tank may entirely stop the nitrification process. Recommended level of KH in reef aquaria is 6,5-8,5 dKH.
Precise KH Buffer dosage for optimal water parameters
Dosage: dissolve 80 g of KH Buffer in 1000 ml RODI water. Dosage should be determined by your water test results and coral’s daily consumption. Before applying KH Buffer solution into the water, it is recommended to run a water test to check current water parameters. 100 ml of KH Buffer solution raises KH level in 100 l (27 US gal) of water by 2,6 dKH. The product is also suitable for casual use for one-time KH level raising. 10 g of KH Buffer in 100 l of water raises the KH level by about 3,3 dKH (Alk. 1,18 meg/l). Aquaforest does not recommend raising KH level by more than 0,5 dKH per day.
